Matt Duke, who released his sophomore album, Kingdom Underground, last year, is back on the road playing his unique brand of pop music that offers much more than the average singer-songwriter fare. With an affinity for offbeat subject matter and a solid set of musical chops, I'm willing to bet he puts on quite a show. In fact, you can check out a clip of Matt performing here.
I've already offered one song from Matt's latest record, and now he's offering another in tribute of the late John Updike, who's writing inspired the tune "Rabbit," which you can download below. "Rabbit" is a gentle, down-tempo song that strips away any excess in favor of putting Duke's clear, smooth voice and acoustic guitar in the spotlight. Take a minute to get the track and check out the territory he will be covering on tour this month.
