I know there is still plenty of time until the end of the year "best of" album and song lists, but I'm curious to know what people are considering the best music of 2008 so far.
I can never pick just one, so I'll suggest three of my favorites albums:
Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes
Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer

Dude, what about Conor Oberst? That's gotta be up there...if you like Bright Eyes, etc, anyway.
You can't forget Vampire Weekends self titled cd. Also Pictures and sound is a new band and just came out with their first cd. I think it is great you should check it out.
